Bucket Elevator

The bucket elevator is used for vertical transport of grains and powdered materials. This transport is carried out by means of a belt with buckets. The bucket elevator consists of the head, the boot, and the elevator tubes. It is driven by a directly connected gearmotor equipped with an electromagnetic brake. In the event of a power failure or any malfunction, the electromagnetic brake prevents the bucket elevator from rotating backward, thereby preventing damage to itself or the buckets. In the boot there is a non-driven pulley and a tensioning mechanism. The speed monitor installed on the lower pulley alerts the operator when the belt slows down. Explosion vents release pressure in the event of a dust explosion. Since all parts are connected with bolts, worn parts can be easily replaced.
