Screw Conveyor

The screw conveyor is used for horizontal transport of granular and powdered materials. It is driven by a directly connected gearmotor. In the event of jamming, the jam control mechanism is activated and the operator is notified. The screw conveyor is also equipped with a speed guard at the shaft end, and in case of shaft damage, the operator is alerted before further damage occurs. The top covers are hinged, and the bottom discharge gates facilitate cleaning the inside of the machine. The screw conveyors used in the tempering section are made of stainless steel.
